What makes coaching different from instructing?

Coaching and instructing despite being very similar are different. It is not about one being better than the other, but about understanding they are different, and which one is right for you.

An instructor teaches you what to do, and can focus on a specific form or skill to develop by telling and demonstrating what is needed, and identifying mistakes.

As a coach, I look more at the bigger picture, and develop you on a holistic level. Not only that, but I will use different approaches to find the right solution for you. The way I teach is about unleashing your potential as an individual, and not trying to tick boxes.

Some of us will prefer to be instructed, some prefer to be coached. Whichever style and approach you prefer, I will adapt my teaching to your requirements.
